Sleeping through the night

Ok, I just spent 10 minutes writing a post and just as Bennett is about to lose it, it all disappeared and I am starting over again. Frustrating.

Anyway, Bennett slept through the night last night for the first time! I put him down at 7:30 pm, gave him a "dream feed" (where I feed him but he doesn't wake up) at 10:45 before I went to bed and he slept till 6:55 am! I hope this will become a habit, but even if not I am thankful for a longer night of sleep. Bennett is really doing well on a schedule, taking 3-4 naps a day and fairly happy in between. My next goal is to get him to take one longer morning nap instead of two and a longer early afternoon nap while Austin is napping. But it is going pretty well.

In other news, it is COLD here and very windy. Yesterday we got everyone bundled to go outside and as soon as we stepped out the door, the wind blew Bennett's blanket off. I took Bennett back upstairs, since he was asleep and Chris was working at home. Austin and I ventured out, but even the staunch Austin wanted to go back in after about 10 minutes. I later checked the weather and saw it was a high of 21 degrees F with a windchill of 4 degrees. It was so windy dust and plastic bags and sticks were swirling as high as our 11th floor apartment window. I later walked to our local grocery store and could barely feel my face and hands (with gloves on) by the time I got back. I am not sure I like northern winters, though I am SO thankful for our indoor heat.

Well, time's about up- Bennett is crying.
