Well, we had a much better day today. Thank you to all who called and emailed about Austin. He had no fever and no throwing up today. He still had a little upset stomach from the other end this morning, but seems about normal tonight. During his sick day, we watched quite a few videos...a special sick day activity...including "Sesame Street". We have a set of "Old School" Sesame Street videos, yes the ones from the 70's.
So today we went outside and it was a really pretty day with somewhat warmer temperatures. And Austin kept singing, and wanting me to sing, the Sesame Street theme song (you remember, Sunny days, keeping the clouds away...). It was rather appropriate today and we enjoyed the weather. It was also pretty windy though and I think the wind and dust storms of spring here are just around the corner. I don't really like it, I think especially because spring is usually my favorite season, but the wind and dust here make it hard to enjoy spring as much.
We are hoping the stomach bug stops with Austin and doesn't visit anyone else in the family.

It's so good to hear that Austin is better. I've been praying for you all, and will continue to do so.
Did you tell Austin that those are the same Sesame Street episodes that you and his daddy used to watch when you were kids? I think Chris' favorite character was Oscar the grouch. At least that's what I would call him as a kid when he became rather crabby! :)
