This will be a short post...I was out shopping tonight with a friend. We are both looking for a brown, medium length down jacket to go with this cold weather...and both came back empty handed. It was fun to be out with a friend, but now it is after 11 pm - definitely time for me to go to bed.
Tonight after dinner Chris asked Austin when he grew up, would he like to have a son or daughter like we have and Austin said, "Yes , Daddy when I'm old". Chris then asked him what would he name his little boy if he had one. Austin thought for a second and then said "Jesus". So cute. Today we were playing with the resurrection eggs (12 plastic eggs with small toys inside that tell the Easter story). So maybe it was fresh on his mind, but we both just smiled. Well, good night!

I love reading your blogs and hearing how the boys are doing! I haven't written down all the cute things mine have said, but I did write down this one from Brittany years back ...
"Mommy, Joshua says I am pretty and he wants to marry me!"
Cute, huh? Of course he doesn't believe he ever said that to her!
I got a new guitar stand for Christmas ... one for home and one for work ... I already used them both! Keep writing!
Perhaps if Austin marries a Latina woman, then naming their son the common Spanish name, "Jesus" wouldn't be quite so unusual! HA, LOL
Leah, I just discovered your blog today when I received Chris's email update. Though blogging is new to this kind of old lady, I'll give it a try. That's a cute story about Austin naming his child "Jesus". Ed and I teach preschool Sunday School at SCPC. Whenever I ask a question, someone always answers, "Jesus!" even if it would be an entirely wrong answer. But really, could they say his name too often? I'll check often to hear all your news. Thanks for sharing. Susan Snowa
