Austin reads in French

This is one of the funniest things I have seen in awhile. Lately when Chris reads to Austin, he (Austin) always wants Chris to read in another language or accent. So Chris has often been reading with a French or Spanish accent or German or ...whatever he feels inspired by at the moment. So Austin has been imitating him and is actually very good at imitating the accent.

So, yesterday we were SKYPing with my parents and Austin decided he would "read" to them in a French accent. Perhaps he was inspired by "Grandpere". A long time ago, my Dad thought he wanted to be called by the French name for grandpa, Grandpere. We all sort of laughed about it and later Austin called him "Bop" so Grandpere was forgotten. But yesterday Chris got Austin to say "Grandpere" with a French accent to Bop on the computer. Then Austin actually decided he would read to them in a French accent.
