Little big girl

Wow suddenly I really do not have a baby anymore!  Lucy seems so big now, just weeks away from her second birthday.  Here are a few of the things she likes these days.

Lucy wants to join in every baseball game and actually can throw the ball pretty well.

A social butterfly- she loves making friends.  This little guy will be a regular visitor now that his parents   have similar work as we do.  They are just one month apart.

Love this picture of all these kids reading together- Lucy was no exception.  She loves books these days.

Today Lucy and I walked outside while waiting for the brothers to get home from school.  She loved pushing her baby around and was so serious, strapping her in, adjusting the hood over her head and staying on the path.  She will initiate waving and saying "ni hao" like a local to anyone we pass.  We left the sandbox area on the way home and she stood on the sidewalk waving vigorously and shouting "Zai Jian" (good bye) to whoever was there until someone saw her and waved back.  Definitely the most social of all our children.
"Dance!" She loves to put on her tutu and points to the CD player or ipod for music.  Then she wants both Geges to come and hold her hands and they twirl and go around until they all fall dizzy to the floor. Then she wants to do it again.
